Hello, my name is Chris Cox, and I am the owner of Sparkling View. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit in me. From my earliest years in elementary school, I started selling pencils and paper, and soon candy and other items to my classmates in school. I would take the profits and try to find even more appealing things to sell next.

I have always found satisfaction in providing a better product or service than the next guy. In elementary school, my products were more convenient (kids could buy products from someone in the same room, instead of having to make a trip to the school's supply store) and were more appealing (because I was a kid the same age, I knew what styles of pencils, etc. we all liked to use). In the window cleaning business, I understand the fear customers have of letting a stranger into their home, the fear of being held liable if someone gets hurt on their property, and the desire to have someone do an exceptional job while helping you check some of the more time consuming chores off your to-do list.

With the exception of 5 years when I was a kid, I have spent my entire life in Tennessee. I moved to Knoxville to attend UT, and I have lived here ever since with my wife and two kids. I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Since that time, I have worked in nuclear engineering, software engineering, and now the home services industry. In every field I have worked, I have made it my goal to learn everything I can about the field, and apply my knowledge so that I can provide the best possible product and service to my customers.

The idea for starting a window cleaning business actually came from a crew of professional window cleaners who had recently moved to Tennesse and were in search of a company to work for. They had experience cleaning windows, but had no experience starting and running a business. A partnership was formed, and Sparkling View was started.

While window cleaning is still our primary focus, we have expanded our services to include power washing, deck cleaning and sealing, gutter cleaning and brightening, and driveway and sidewalk cleaning. We realized that, while sparkling clean windows can really make a house look great, our owners wouldn't be completely satisfied if other parts of their house were still dirty. So we pick up where most maid services leave off, cleaning the outside and hard to reach areas of your house in addition to our primary service of cleaning your windows inside and out.
